Community Integration Scholarship Fund

Mission Statement: To create a community that promotes opportunites for growth, recovery and wellness through meaningful work, relationships and purpose.

Our primary goal is to enhance recovery, and community integration is a key strategy for improving recovery outcomes. With this funding, we are able to remove financial barriers and promote recovery from mental illness through community integration.

Emotional Support Animal Care; Spay/Neuter Program:  

Research endorses the benefits of positive social interaction with a pet (Emotional Support Animal). These benefits include calming and relaxing the individual, lowering anxiety, alleviating loneliness, enhancing social engagement and interaction, sense of purpose and reduced depression. In fact, many individuals with pets will identify needing to care for their pet as a mitigating factor to prevent suicide or self-harm. Many of our members who meet the criteria for emotional support animals struggle with the financial demands of caring for the pet properly. This fund would assist with spaying and neutering, veterinarian care and shots for the member’s emotional support animals.

Education/Enrichment Fund: Donations support members in pursuing education goals.

General Fund:  Donations to this fund are used at the Clubhouse discretion through consensus decision making process to meet unmet needs.
